Tiny Step: AGI - Artificial General Intelligence is Almost Here

I truly enjoy the peaceful early mornings on weekends or days off from my regular routine. During this quiet and reflective time, I often browse the internet, delve into interesting books, and spend time journaling my thoughts and experiences. This calming period allows me to gather and explore a lot of creative ideas that come to mind, setting a positive tone for the rest of the day ahead.

For the past few days, I’ve been focused on reading over 160 pages of Situational Awareness, outlining a compelling argument that demonstrates the path to AGI, or Artificial General Intelligence, is quite possible by 2027.

I'm both excited and scared by this possibility. I believe the argument presented—it's not just possible, it's bound to happen. I think it will change humanity by forcing us to rethink our purpose: if AGI does most things for us, what does that mean for our purpose?

The goal is no longer a distant dream. With AGI helping us, we can explore what matters most. Imagine a world where everyday tasks are easy, letting us focus on what inspires us. In this future, we may shift from just raising children to creating meaningful legacies with our unique talents. Hobbies turn into exciting activities, making everyday moments extraordinary. Discovering our purpose becomes a fun journey filled with fresh ideas and creativity. As we move through this remarkable world, the desire for material things fades, giving way to meaningful connections and experiences tied to our individual stories.

Tiny Step for Big Life:

If your life is sorted, what will you spend your time on?

Daily: list 3 things

Weekly: list 2 things

Monthly: list 1 thing

If thinking about this makes you anxious and you want to avoid it, that's fine. It might mean you're not ready to explore deeper feelings, and that's okay too. When you're ready, come back and list just one thing that come to mind.

I embrace the AGI: I genuinely want to delve deeper into this fascinating subject of finding my own meaning of life.
